WHAT WE DID
BREAKING BOUNDARIES
Against the general global understanding of “luxury” store design, BALENCIAGA’s look has a strong industrial style - the concrete floors are mottled and even reveal construction grids; weathered display racks with no coating finish; walls textured with special wear and tear marks, stained or chipped effects; cables, ducts and ventilation systems running across the ceiling and only partially covered by ceiling grids and an industrial looking lighting systems; which all symbolizes the “modern luxury” approach for Balenciaga.
SKYnoa's project management team has continued to communicate closely with the property owners and brand stakeholders from the very beginning of the project.
In consideration of the brand's operational efficiency and sales strategy, the construction schedule and feasibility plan were laid out in advance to roll out the two-story store construction in batches.
